Out of Exile
By Audioslave

Haven't updated in a while. I actually don't know why I'm updating now.

Nothing is the way I planned for it to be. There are so many things and people that I thought would be in my life right now that are as far away as anyone could get. Everyday I wish things were different. I have a ton of projects and homework that I've failed to finish and all of this wouldn't be so bad if I had something wonderful to look forward to. But I don't. Or well maybe I do and I'm just overlooking it.

So here's the point in this entry where I tell you how bad I feel for even complaining about my life. My worst problems aren't even half as awful as others. It could be so much worse and I know that but I guess we all have to gauge the intensity of things by what we know.

Move Along
By The All-American Rejects

Last night was probably one of the most fun nights of my life.  Sophie and I went to the All American Rejects show at Cat's Cradle.  Some band I've never heard of, or know the name of now, started at 7:30 and played until 8.  At that time And The Academy Is came out and played for 30 minutes or a bit longer and Rooney followed.  Finally at 10 AAR graced us with their presence.  THEY WERE SO GOOD.  It's basically been a "dream" of mine since my 13th birthday to see them live and or meet the band.  They played all of my favorite songs and then some.  The drums pounded in place of my heart beat and the bass shot through each bone separately and it felt like they were vibrating.  I did the closest thing to dancing I was capable of in the extraordinarily tight space I had to stand in. I also sang and screamed so much that at one point when I tried to scream again my voice didn't come out.  I can still hear a ringing in my ears.  They finished with The Last Song ( I  LOVE  IT  SO  MUCH)  at around 11:30.  Sophie and I then proceeded outside to wait for my mom and also to get a little bit of oxygen.  My mom pulled up and before we could get into the car we spotted Tyson (lead singer of AAR) standing with something like 20 or less girls around him.  We ran over to my mom and stole her sharpies in hopes of and autograph...but where?  Soph shoved me up in front of him and I asked if he would sign my pants.  He looked at me a little strangely and smiled.  I lifted my leg a little and he grabbed onto it and went down on his knees (while touching my leg) the then stuck his hand inside my pocked and said "I like signing pockets".  So he did.  It was great .  He actually seemed like a pretty nice and easy going guy.

It was so amazing. All of it.

Today was good too.  I'm really happy with my english grade and I could not possibly care any less about the math test we took today....even though I don't think I did well..at all.  After school Soph, Erin, Brian, Douglas, Daniel, Zack (sorry I'm not sure which way his name is spelled), Reade, and I went running and then played soccer down at the practice field.  Actually...I think Reade and Daniel left before we started playing.  Anyway it was fun and now I'm sitting here, simmering in my own sweat.

Perhaps a shower is in order?
